The partnership

Two nations, one horizon.

The Academy was established with the support of the Government of The Bahamas and the British High Commission in Nassau.

The Government of The Bahamas. The Academy works alongside the Government's own commitment to youth and sport across the islands. The Prime Minister has given the Academy his full support, and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture works closely with it.

The British High Commission. The High Commission serves as a founding strategic partner, championing the Academy's mission, convening partners in both countries and supporting its profile. All governance and funding decisions rest with the Academy's independent Board.

Sport is one of the strongest threads in the relationship between our two countries. It is deeply embedded in our cultural values and respect for young people. The Academy exists to turn that shared enthusiasm into lasting institutions, exchanges and opportunities.
